Privacy policy

Roasted Positivity Club ("we", "us") is a coffee subscription being prepared for launch in the UAE. This page explains what we collect through our pre-launch survey, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Survey answers: how you brew coffee, how many cups you drink, roughly what you spend each month, which emirate we would deliver to, any comment you choose to write, and the time you submitted.
• Your email address, only if you give it and tick the box asking to hear about the launch.

We don't ask for your name, phone number or address, and the survey works without an email. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Why we collect it

• Survey answers help us decide what to roast, how to grind it, what to charge and where to deliver first. We look at them in aggregate.
• Your email is used only to tell you when we launch and to offer founding members early access. We won't sell it or share it for marketing.

Where it's stored

Responses are stored with Supabase, a database provider that processes the data on our behalf. Our database is hosted in the [SUPABASE REGION, e.g. EU (Frankfurt)] region, which may be outside the UAE. Supabase encrypts data in transit and at rest.

Survey answers and email addresses are kept in separate tables and are not linked to each other, so your answers can't be traced back to your email.

How long we keep it

• Email addresses: until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after launch if you haven't become a customer, whichever comes first.
• Survey answers: for as long as they're useful for planning. They don't contain your email, so on their own they don't identify you. Please don't put personal details in the comment field.

Your choices

Every launch email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] to see, correct or delete the email address we hold for you, or to withdraw your consent. We'll reply within 30 days. Because survey answers aren't linked to your email, we usually can't find a specific response, but we'll delete it if you can help us identify it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email anyone on the launch list before it takes effect.
